Colossal! (XIII)
Colossal! (XIII)

Something for everyone!
As we approach the end of the year, and nearly the end of our Colossal 😁 Colossian 😁 journey, I would want to notify you of God’s unabashed interests in people and relationships. Relationships impact on destinies; they bring out the best, and the worst in people. If you can get it right in all your relationships, you are already winning in life.
Every passing year, I am more convinced that we don’t meet people by accident. I believe that every person we meet will have a role in our lives, be it big or small. We therefore must understand that human relations are critical. They affect everything. The better we do in our relationships, the more peace we experience in our lives and the more productive we become. How we treat ourselves and others matters! It matters so much that it is also of interest to God.
In the long passage below (please read), the Lord gives simple guides to help human bonds:
Let every detail in your lives – words, actions, whatever – be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way. Wives, understand and support your husbands by submitting to them in ways that honour the Master. Husbands, go all out in love for your wives. Don’t take advantage of them. Children, do what your parents tell you. This delights the Master no end. Parents, don’t come down too hard on your children or you’ll crush their spirits. Servants, do what you’re told by your earthly masters…And masters, treat your servants considerately. Be fair with them. Don’t forget for a minute that you, too, serve a Master – God in heaven. (Colossians 3:17-4:1)
What can I say?
Everyone matters!
Everyone deserves to be treated right!
Everyone can improve in their dealings with others!
They say ‘charity begins at home’ and ‘the family is the bedrock of society’. What you make good at home, will have effect on you. Paul proceeds from the home to the workplace to show no one is left out. No one is above the law. No one is permitted to tyrannise. No one is more important than others. Everyone ought to be treated right. So, I say, be K-I-N-D 👇🏽
Keep love, peace and humility as your watchwords.
Insist on serving others and making people’s lives better.
Nip off pride, bitterness, criticism and other vices
Do not be a source or sorrow or pain to anyone.
Become Colossal!
See Possibilities!
